The Pickwick Pepperpots was founded by the three officers
below mentioned
on the 1st May 2002 A.D. as a non profit making longbow only archery
club in order to promote and encourage the use and
traditions of the English
Longbow and to plant trees on behalf of every member in remembrance of
those traditions. It is a private, independent and unaffiliated organisation
established for the exclusive use without exception of its bona fide members.
Its activities encompass in the main roving marks with the occasional field
and clout events enjoyed at various picturesque and testing venues throughout
the midland shires.
Club Officers:
John D. Holder: Captain to the Mark.
Carole A. Butler: Keeper of the Keys.
Richard P. Butler: Master of the Rolls.
